From the time I was a wee little lad I was into all kinds of music. My Father and Mother exposed me from eveyrthing to the classic standards (i.e. Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, 50's Rock-n-Roll, Elvis, The Beatles, etc...) and I also listend to the radio and got influence from Rock-n-Roll, R&B or Soul music, Funk, Jazz, Folk music, etc... I listen to most everything no matter what genre; even spoken word to beat. The only requirement about that for me though is, SAY SOMETHING; not just talk about your 24 inch wheels, your bank roll, and how many women you disrespect. If it sounds good to me, if it vibrates in me, if it resonates with me, I listen to it. I really like melody and a voice that evokes passion and words that cause deep thought and move my emotion. It's not just a cliche'; music is truly the universal language.
