This thrilling piece is the company’s first major show in seven years and will be finally completed during their residency at Eden Court. parallel | parallels explores the worlds of parallel universes, combing the finest dance with music by outstanding singer/songwriter Michael Marra. This is your chance to get a sneak preview of this fantastic piece of cutting edge performance before it sets off for the Edinburgh Festival and on tour.

In the company's first work since 2001, plan B explore the world of parallel universes with focus given to the decisions we did not make existing and continuing in another lateral place with a life of their own. Scientists now know for sure that these parallel worlds really do exist and in other universes there may well be versions of ourselves living completely other lives. Collaborating with Michael Marra, Christine Devaney, John Harvey and Karen Tennent, Frank McConnell has created an exciting, challenging, innovative piece that will leave us questioning all our choices. Four exceptional dancers will perform the piece with live musicians (including Michael Marra) creating a beautiful, live musical landscape. Performed in traverse, parallel | parallels is visually and musically unique, blending song, narrative and movement into two co-existing performances.
