Well it seems theres a fashion

an old human passion for fitting in

not me 

i dont do that

if this is a civilised society

its missing its humanity

and dont know

somehow its wilfully blind

 

Somehow our gods are technological

needs psycholgical, life biological

a moment in time, then nothing

i dont buy that

we've got our labels for this

labels for that

everything and everywhere and everyone

just labels on a map

 

They say its a new kind of order

its just another border

its just a wishing well

dont kid yourself

well honey if it seems real nice

you can bet its a vice

its a major distraction from

where the real action is

dont do that

 

So we have new evangilists

rebuilding rome

selling us soap and keeping us home

man made boxes of shadows and light

they talk all day then they mock all night
